The aim of any country’s higher education system is sustainable development and achieving higher growth rates. It is enabled through creation, transmission and dissemination of knowledge. The Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust with its mission of developing and promoting quality technical education in the NCR, Haryana & Delhi in a coordinated and integrated manner-the Trust’s constant endeavor is to encourage the higher/Technical education system and research and development activities in a concerted effort aimed at nation-building. Technical education at all levels in the country particularly in NCR area is witnessing a consistent growth pattern marked by the setting up of new Institutions and the improvement of the existing ones in tune with the quality assurance norms set by the accreditation agencies. The “Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust” and its management believes in providing a proper impetus to institutions in producing competent Doctors, pharmacists, managers and encourage them to think beyond the curriculum while imparting training for the advancement of knowledge. The emphasis of the “Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust” is to put in place simplified procedures at greater ease. “Access to Quality” and “Education to All” will be the slogans for the year 2015-16 to give more impetus to quality in technical education and to be the best in the world. The Management and Board of Trustee’s efforts are at fostering a technical education system, which is at par with the best institutions in the world. Educational institutions have undergone several changes in their structure as well as the goal ahead. A structural transformation is taking place, from the institutions producing `babus’ in the British Raj to the institutions producing computer professionals, doctors, engineers, etc. The growth of industries in the Country, just after independence, also demanded the need for qualified professionals in other fields, such as Doctors, Chartered Accountants, Engineers, Business Management, Architecture, Hotel Management, Pharmacy etc. Although the diverse elements of Management such as Commerce, Economics, Finance, Psychology and Industrial Sociology were being taught for a long time, the need for Management Education in a formal way was felt in India only in the fifties. The Government of India decided in 1954 to set up a Board of Management Studies under AICTE to formulate standards and promote Management Education. Under the approval of Haryana Government and guiding spirit of the trustees, “Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust” has established the University to cater the need of the country in the field of Higher/Technical education in the NCR area Particularly, Delhi, Haryana. Our country is amongst the oldest seats of learning in the world, and the parents here aspire to provide their children with the very best in education. In anticipation of this need the management of “Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust” had established it Fourteen years ago. While the Trust is Fourteen years old, it is backed by many great humanists , educationist & connoisseurs of education, who have gained a very long experience of education and are holding very prominent seats & positions in various educational institutions of high repute & glory. The Management of “Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust” Believes that every Student at the institution has potential and talent and University under the Trust have created an environment to nurture it. The University under the Trust gives a platform which aims at the all round development of the Student including developing the qualities of self reliance , integrity , adaptability , Social awareness , faithfulness, truthfulness, smartness, forgiveness, sharing, intelligence , efficiency and inspiration etc. In keeping with these objectives, Management and Board of Trustees would strive to be a true facilitator and enabler in addition to fulfilling the Objects of the Trust.
